Victoria 3: Review

For a very long time, I've been writing reviews of Paradox's grand strategy games for this site, devoting many hours to everything from Crusader...

Lost Ark Game Review

Lost Ark is worth checking out, but the game's absurd scale and several off-kilter side missions help it overcome its lackluster plot and formulaic gameplay. However, I have enjoyed seeing it try to be one even though it's not quite a classic yet.

Skyrim’s New Fishing Mini-Game Review

Skyrim is without a doubt one of the most influential role-playing games of all time, and for good reason. To be honest, even an hour spent playing about with this fus hite stupid feature had me feeling nostalgic about how great this game is. A stomach-churning realization that I'll have to spend another 100 hours playing through the game swiftly followed.

The Legend of Tianding Review

A wonderful example of a short film that meets all of its visual and narrative objectives without ever feeling stale. The bleak image of colonial Taiwan, albeit only six story-driven chapters, is replete with intrigue and potential. This surprised me, given that the game doesn't hold back when it comes to its harsh environment.

Solar Ash Review

Solar Ash, a game that is both fascinating and irritating, exciting and peaceful, simple and complicated, is released on PlayStation 4 and PC tomorrow and is a study in contrasts. In the blink of an eye, you're flying through the sky above pastel-colored space clouds, mouth wide open, marveling at the sheer beauty of it all. The next thing you know, you're wailing into a nearby desk.

Opus: Echo Of Starsong Review

Opus: Echo of Starsong is a strong contender for game of the year in my opinion. While the gameplay and narrative are simple, the game's execution is ambitious, and it stays true to challenging emotional themes until the very end.

Hearts Of Iron IV Review

Hearts of Iron IV isn't a game in which you're handed a gun and told to fight a war. It assigns you to a conflict and challenges you to win it.

Let’s Build A Zoo Review

Let's Build a Zoo particularly excels in these moments of ridiculousness. It's a cute little game with just the proper amount of 'what the fuck?' to keep me entertained for hours.
